Former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal announced a new scheme for the priests of temple and granthis of Gurudwara in Delhi. This scheme called Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. Under this scheme every eligible Pujari and Granthis will get monthly stipend from the Delhi government after the assembly elections.

Delhi AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal announced this scheme on 30th December to provide financial assistance to the Hindu and Sikh priests. Under this scheme all the temple and gurudwara sahib of Delhi are eligible to apply for the scheme and they will get financial benefits if Aam Aadmi Party wins the upcoming assembly elections in 2025.
At the launching event of Delhi Pujari Granthi Samman Scheme, Arvind Kejriwal said that these people are the important for all of us because they are the breeze between God and common people. Because they passed out pray to the God. So, we launch this scheme to provide them financial support.

Financial Benefits of the scheme
Under the Pujari Granthi Yojana of Delhi, government will give them Rs 18,000 monthly to directly their bank account. It means all the eligible Pujaris and Granthis will able to get 2 lakh and 16 thousand in a year under the scheme.
Who are eligible to apply?
Only those Pujaris and Granthis are eligible who are permanent resident of Delhi. Here we want to clarify that only Hindu temple and Sikh priests are eligible. There are not mentioned about Dargah and Church. Along with that there are not mentioned about economic conditions of the eligible beneficiaries.

Registration Dates
At the time of announcement of this scheme Arvind Kejriwal said that registration process will start tomorrow. It means 31st December is the start date of the registration for Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. But he didn’t said about the last date of registration for the scheme.
Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana Registration Process
As of the order registration process for the Delhi Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana starts from 31st December through offline mode. Arvind Kejriwal said that he will start the registration procedure by visiting the Hanuman mandir in Delhi’s Connaught place. After that ground workers of Aam Aadmi Party will visit every temple and gurudwara sahib to fill the application form of the eligible Pujaris and Granthis.

When the money will be deposited of Pujari-Granthi Yojana?
Here we want to clarify that all the eligible beneficiaries will get monthly stipend of Rs 18 thousand of AAP wins the upcoming assembly elections in 2025. So money will be provided after the elections results may be in April, 2025.
