What is Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY scheme for senior citizens?
As we noted earlier, extended version of Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme for senior citizens was approved on 11th September in 2024. How to verify eligibility online?
Step 1: Visit official website of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
Step 2: Navigate the option on the main menu “Am I Eligible?”.
Step 3: Now you have been redirected to the new window where you have to enter your mobile number.
Srep 4: After that enter Captcha code shown on your screen.
Step 5: Hit the “Verify” button in the mobile number box.
Step 6: Now OTP will be sent to your mobile number, you have to verify the OTP.
Step 7: After OTP verification, you have to select state and enter ration card number.
Step 8: At the end, click on the submit button. If you are eligible then screen will show you.

How to Apply Online for Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY?
Step 1: First of all you have to visit the SETU Portal. (https://setu.pmjay.gov.in/setu/)
Step 2: On the home page click on the Register button.
Step 3: Once clicked on, Registration form will be opened up on your screen.
Step 4: You have to fill all the necessary details.
Step 5: Once completed, click on the submit button.
Step 6: After verification by the authority, you will be approved or not later messaged you.
Offline Process
In offline application process for Ayushman Bharat scheme you just visit any nearby hospital where registration process continues. Just remember you go there with necessary documents like ration card, Aadhaar card and income statement (Income statement may not necessary for senior citizens). How to get Ayushman Bharat Card for senior citizens?
