What is Har Ghar Lakhpati (HGL) Scheme of SBI?
This SBI’s scheme is launched on 3rd January, 2025 for all citizens of India those who has account in the any State Bank of India branch in any city. Under this scheme main objective is to made their account holders to Lakhpati. Penalty Charges for bounce installment (Rules)
- If your installment bounce in any month than you will be charged for the panelty.
- If you select plan which tenure is 5 years or less than that and missed to pay monthly installment then you have to pay ₹1.5 for every ₹100 as a penalty.
- If you select plan which tenure is more than 5 years then you have to pay ₹2 for every ₹100 as a penalty.
- Penalty charges may change time to time.
- If you not paid 6 installments continuous then your account will be closed.
- If account closed then remaining amount will send to beneficiary saving bank account.
- There are no changes in maturity amount of you pay installments in advance.

Step 1: First of all visit the nearest branch of SBI in which your account exists.
Step 2: Where you have to talk about SBI Har Ghar Lakhpati (HGL) RD Scheme to any employee of the bank.
Step 3: After that they will explain all the details and provide an application form for joining the scheme.
Step 4: Now you have to fill all the details on the form and attach documents like Aadhar Card, Passport size photo, Bank account number and one address proof.
