What is Assam Mutual Transfer Portal?

Assam state government launched this mutual transfer portal known as Swagata Satirtha portal on 1st January, 2025 for the mutually transfer application of the Grade III and Grade IV employees of the state. State government believed that along with professional works every employee has a responsibility of personal priorities. So this platform will provide transfer facility to the employee in your home town or district.

Objective of the portal

The main purpose to launch mutual transfer portal is to provide better balance between their professional works and personal life. Till now it’s a time consuming and lengthy process to get transferred for the employees but now Swagata Satirtha portal provide transparent solutions for the government employees.

Important Dates for sending mutual transfer request

This portal is open for the state employees for a limited time period. So, those who want to send a request for mutual transfer can apply until the last date 28th February.

Eligibility Conditions

Those who follow these guidelines will allow to send mutual transfer request or register on the portal.

• Mutual transfer facility on Swagata Satirtha portal is only applicable for Grade III and Grade IV employees of the Assam government.
• Employees can avail mutual transfer request benefits only 2 times in their service period.
• Sender and acceptor can avail mutual transfer facility if they are meet these below requirements.
  • Both employees belongs to same grade pay.
  • Both are covered under same service rule.
  • Nature and qualification of both posts are similar.

Documents required

These documents are necessary when you are going to online registration.

• PAN card of the employee
• Department ID proof
• Signature of the employee
• Passport size photograph
• Email ID
• Mobile number etc.

Now following documents are required to be transferred to the new place of posting on account of mutual transfer.

• Service books
• Personal File
• ACRs
• Leave records
• Any other documents as may be required

Online Mutual Transfer Portal Assam 2025 Registration Link

Step 1: Visit official portal. (https://swagatasatirtha.assam.gov.in/)

Step 2: On the home page, click on the Register option.

Step 3: On the new page enter details like your name, phone number, email and set a new password.

Step 4: Now OTP will send to your registered mobile number which you have to verify it.

Step 5: Now check the box of terms and conditions and click on the Submit button.

Once you registered on the portal, system will provide a unique registration ID through text message or email.

Step 1: After successful online registration, you have to visit official website once again.

Step 2: Click on the Login tab on the home page.

Step 3: Now on the Login page, you have to enter registered mobile number and password which you already created at the time of registration.

Step 4: After providing login credentials you have to click on the Login button.

Profile Completion Process

Once you logged in, you have to verify your identity by submitting your valid PAN card. Once identity is identified you can create your profile for mutual transfers as following way.

• Click on the profile icon.
• Enter personal details like contact number, birth date etc.
• Enter employment information like department where you work, designation and employment history.
• After that you have to enter maximum 5 district locations where you want to transfer.
• At the end you can submit your profile and once submitted authorities will verify your profile.
• At the time of verification, if any issues found then you have to correct first and again resubmit your profile.
• Once verified, after you can eligible to send request for mutual transfer.

How to submit mutual transfer request on Swagata Satirtha gov in

Check these points for submission of mutual transfer request.

• Once your profile is verified, you got suggestions based on your profile on your dashboard.
• You can send a request by checking the suggestion of the employees.
• If your request is accepted by the other employees then your mutual request will be sent to the authority for the approval to the Head of Department.

You should know about mutual transfer application

• Only one active request is allowed at a time.
• Employees can cancel a request manually too.
• Otherwise it will be cancelled automatically after 15 days of inactivity.
• Once request submitted, cancellation is not allowed after the other applicant accepted.
• If anyhow mutual transfer request rejected by the HOD then applicant has to send another mutual transfer request to the other applicant.
• Approval notification will be shared on your dashboard.
• Transfer order can be downloaded from the portal.
• If your profile is rejected then update the necessary details and resubmit it.
